‘True symbol of power and victory’: Gujarat Minister appeals to organisers to play Op Sindoor garba tonight

Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi on Saturday made an appeal to all the garba revellers and organizers in Gujarat “to make the festival of worship of Shakti an opportunity to salute the Army.”

He requested everyone to join in creating a world record by playing the “garba on Operation Sindoor” across Gujarat at 11 pm on the seventh night of Navratri, September 28.

“Tomorrow night, the entire Gujarat will dance to the garba on Operation Sindoor in honour of our Army in one rhythm and one tune,” Sanghavi said, according to a statement.

“On this festival of worship of Adyashakti Maa Amba, we are all dancing with enthusiasm. Behind our happiness and safety are the blessings of Maa Amba as well as the valour and prowess of our brave soldiers standing on the borders. Navratri is the festival of worship of power and our soldiers are the true symbol of power and victory,” the minister said.

Sanghavi requested all the garba organisers, and DJs to play ‘Operation Sindoor’ garba at the scheduled time and inspire the revellers to dance to it with pride.

According to a description on the YouTube channel of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the Operation Sindoor Garba is “a powerful musical tribute to the valor of the Indian Army under the decisive leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Sung by the renowned artist Parthiv Gohil, this garba celebrates the spirit of Maa Shakti and pays homage to the courage of our brave soldiers in Operation Sindoor. Launched ahead of Navratri, this special garba unites devotion, patriotism, and cultural pride. Don’t miss this soulful celebration of India’s strength.”
