On Thursday evening,Sonone created a ruckus at the chief warden’s office for not being given permission.

“When the gym has been made with the university sports fund,it should be made open for all girl students. I had also shown my identity card and registered all my details before entering,” said Sonone.

The warden in-charge,J D Wadhwa, said: “The university pavilion already has a gym, which is for all university students including girls. This gym was made specifically for the 1,200 hostel girls and not outsiders.”
