Inspector D L Jhala confirmed: “The youth appears to be mentally unstable and has been taken in police custody.

He was taken to the Psychiatry department of SSG Hospital later in the day for a medical examination.”

Doctors,meanwhile,said the youth either might have had a drug overdose or was in a state of withdrawal.
