With a roadshow in Vadodara, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday morning kickstarted his two-day visit to Gujarat. This is his first visit to his home state after the Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindoor on terrorist bases in Pakistan in response to a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22.

He was accorded a grand welcome upon his arrival at the Vadodara airport at around 10 am on Monday and a 1-km roadshow till the Airforce station.

People gathered on both sides of the route to congratulate him for the success of India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ against Pakistan.

PM Modi will lay the foundation stones and inaugurate multiple development projects worth around Rs 24,000 crore in Dahod while also addressing a public function. He is also scheduled to take part in public events in Bhuj and Gandhinagar, and inaugurate various projects worth Rs 82,950 crore, an official release said.
