Mystery caller called DCP,ACP too

The caller who identified himself as an Army officer and called up police control room early Saturday morning to say a firing incident had taken place Drive-In theatre had also called up a DCP and ACP to complain about police action.

While the control room received the call at 2:30 am,the man called up DCP (Zone I) V Chandrashekhar and ACP P C Joshi at 3 am and 3.30 am,respectively. “He also claimed some men had got into a scuffle with his personnel and snatched away their service rifles. When Chandrashekhar asked him to file an official complaint,the person claimed he would come to file an FIR on Monday but did not turn up,” the officer added.

The police are scanning call details to establish the caller’s identity.
