Following the complaint, the two officers have moved a petition through their lawyer,Dhaval Barot,to get the complaint quashed. Barot said that among others, they argued before the court of Justice H N Devani that the complaint has been lodged to shield some of the government officials in connection with the mishap.

Justice Devani has issued notices to the respondents to be returned on October 28. And till then,a stay on the investigation has been ordered.
