BJP corporator from ward 16, Snehal Patel, raised the issue of water crisis in her ward, stating that her phones ring incessantly from morning to evening even as "officers concern remain unavailable". Patel sought "strict instructions" to be issued to officials to expedite resolution to pending water complaints. Joining Patel was ward 15 corporator Ashish Joshi, who said that development works in Vadodara were proceeding at a snail's pace. He maintained that works under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, taken up in his ward in 2017, are yet to be completed despite the 18-month deadline with which the contracts were handed out.
