State BJP president and Union Jal Shakti Minister C R Paatil on Wednesday released a video message, condemning the terror attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam on Tuesday. In the message, he said that the countrymen are waiting for revenge for those who have been killed in the attack.
In the video, Paatil said, “The terrorists in Pahalgam targeted the tourists by asking about their religion and later shot them dead after ensuring that they were Hindus. We condemn such an abhorrent incident. The terrorists had killed around 28 men in the presence of their wives, children and near and dear ones. This is a sorrowful incident. Among those killed by terrorists include three men from Gujarat — Shaileshbhai, Yateeshbhai, and Smithbhai. I pray to God to give strength to the families of those who were killed in the terrorist attack.”
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi cut short his tour and returned to India. The entire country believes that the killings will be avenged. The entire country is waiting, united. Those behind this act will certainly have to think before they do this again….we are all committed to give them the strictest of punishment,” he further said.
