‘Expired’ chocolates seized in Ahmedabad

The health department officials of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation on Wednesday seized 25,400 kg of branded “expired” chocolates from several places in the city and destroyed them. Unnati Sales Agency owned by one Falgun Upendrabhai Mehta has been asked to pay up administrative charge of Rs 15,000 in this connection, according to an AMC  release. Mehta was also issued
a notice under Packaging and  Labelling Rules.
