CM hails Pak over Bhagat Singh Chowk

Chief Minister Narendra Modi complimented the Pakistan Government for its decision to rename a chowk on busy Jail Road in Lahore after revolutionary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

Modi late on Monday tweeted that,“Pakistan Govt renames Shadman Chowk in Lahore as Bhagat Singh Chowk. I congratulate them for this tribute to the martyr”.

In a release,the state BJP said,“On several occasions,Shri Modi has expressed his admiration for the heroic deeds of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and has said that there is no youngster in the country who does not admire this proud son of Mother India.”
