Mystic Glory,a show that unveiled works of 20 contemporary artists curated by Ritu Dhingra, was inaugurated by Monica Tata,VP & Deputy GM,Turner International. Arti Surendranath was one of the first few to arrive and stayed on for a good while. Krsna Mehta beat the heat in a pair of casual shorts and T-shirt. Co-curator Neenah Arora expressed her keenness to promote artists with regular art shows at the best locations and with community involvement.
Showstopper The show proved an ideal platform for emerging artists as 21-year-old Jai Ranjeet was excited that all his paintings were sold.
Panasonics new brand ambassador Ranbir Kapoor is everywhere these days. After having made a quick trip to Delhi two days ago,Chintus junior was back in Mumbai the next day for his film Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahanis wrap party. Hosted by producer Ramesh Taurani at his Bandra apartment, the do was a small affair, primarily for the cast and crew of the film, and was attended by director of the film Rajkumar Santoshi and a few friends like Mohit Suri,Ken Ghosh,Pritam and Salim Merchant. The lead pair,in a mundane address, expressed gratitude for having worked with each other. Ranbir also said that hes ecstatic about mother Neetu Singhs comeback to the big screen after three decades. Its lovely but to be honest,Ive never watched her films as I was extremely possessive about her. And Im glad she is making her comeback to films with my father.
Bummer While Ranbir was one of the first to walk in,diva Katrina arrived towards the fag end of the party. In a white ganji over jeans, she strutted the fake tattoos that she sports in the film.
