Amit Shah in Ahmedabad today: Yoga Day, opening of smart schools in focus

Union Home & Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will be in Ahmedabad on Friday to participate in two public events. Shah will participate in a yoga event at a park on Sindhu Bhavan Road in the morning. The event is part of the International Yoga Day celebrations, which are set to be held across the country on Friday.

The state-level Yoga Day event is being held at Nada Bet of Banaskantha on the Indo-Pak border. Shah’s second public engagement will be in the afternoon in the Naranpura area where he will inaugurate 30 primary schools of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, which have been converted into smart schools. He will also visit one of the 30 smart schools in Naranpura where he will also attend a public function.
