The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad has retained its position as the leading Indian management institute for the fourth consecutive year in the rankings announced by the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings on Monday. Commenting on the ranking, Professor Bharat Bhasker, director of IIMA, said, “We are delighted to be acknowledged as the best management institute in India by the Ministry of Education’s NIRF 2023 rankings. This recognition is a testament to IIMA’s world-class education and the cutting-edge research conducted by our faculty, which has a significant influence on business and public policy, alongside the unrelenting efforts of our students, year after year.” “This further strengthens our resolve to uphold high standards of excellence in every aspect of what we do and continue to contribute meaningfully to our nation’s growth,” added the director. The NIRF evaluates higher education institutions across parameters such as teaching, learning resources, research, graduation outcomes and perception. The rankings were started in 2016.
