Tata Capital Ltd Rs 15,512 crore initial public offering (IPO) was subscribed 1.95 times on the last day of the bidding, with the retail portion getting oversubscribed. Total bids received for the IPO was 65.12 crore shares as against 33.34 crore shares on offer. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) placed bids for 32.44 crore equity shares, as compared to 9.49 crore shares offered. Retail investors bid for 18.28 crore equity shares, as against 16.61 crore shares offered, showing a subscription of 1.1 times. Non institutional investors (NIIs) portion got subscribed 1.98 times. Meanwhile, LG Electronics India’s Rs 11,607 crore IPO got subscribed 3.32 times on the second day of the bidding. The public offer received total bids for 23.71 crore shares compared to 7.13 crore shares on offer. QIBs placed bids for 5.27 crore shares, compared to 2.03 crore shares offered to them, representing a 2.59 times subscription. Retail investors placed bids for 6.76 crore shares, as against 3.56 crore shares offered to them. The retail portion was subscribed 1.9 times. Non institutional investor (NII) category was subscribed 7.6 times. The IPO will close for subscription on October 9.
