Dhampur Sugar Oct-Dec quarter net down by 91%

Dhampur Sugar Mills reported a net profit of Rs 7.41 crore for the quarter ended on December 31,2010,a 91 per cent decline over the corresponding period in the previous year.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 82.53 crore for the quarter ended on December 31,2009,Dhampur Sugar Mills said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.

The company’s total sales rose by 47.43 per cent to Rs 502.95 crore during the quarter (October-December period) under consideration,as compare to Rs 341.14 crore in the corresponding period.
