BHEL bags Most Investor Friendly PSU Award

State-run power equipment maker BHEL has been adjudged the most investor friendly PSU.

State-run power equipment maker BHEL has been adjudged the most investor friendly public sector unit by Dalal Street Investment Journal.

“BHEL has been conferred the ‘Most Investor Friendly PSU Award’ for the year 2009 by Dalal Street Investment Journal (DSIJ),” a company statement said on Thursday.

Instituted by DSIJ,these awards are presented to the PSUs to acknowledge their unwavering support and contribution to the Indian economy.

With an order-book position of Rs 1,13,500 crore at the end of the third quarter,the company expects to achieve robust growth in the current fiscal.

Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) announced its first list of 14 candidates for the Bihar assembly polls, with its state unit chief Raju Tiwary and leader Hulas Pandey among the nominees. As per the seat-sharing arrangement, LJP (RV) will contest 29 seats, while BJP and JD(U) will contest 101 seats each. The remaining 15 candidates will be announced soon.
