Menthol price up on fresh buying

Menthol prices rose by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital.

Menthol prices rose by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today on the back of increased buying support from pharma and consuming units amid tight stocks.

Restricted supplies from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh also influenced the prices.

Menthol bold crystal,menthol flake and mentha oil rose by Rs 10 each to Rs 1,580,Rs 1,515 and Rs 1,430 per kg,respectively.

Traders said increased demand from pharmaceutical units and other consuming industries amid lower arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh mainly pushed up menthol prices.
