Vishnu Datt Sharma biography

V D Sharma, also known as Vishnu Datt Sharma, is a political leader from Madhya Pradesh and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of the Parliament from Madhya Pradesh’s Khajuraho constituency. He was born on October 1, 1970, in Morena, Madhya Pradesh.

He is the son of Amar Singh Sharma and holds an M.Sc. degree in Agriculture Agronomy from Gwalior, JNKVV, Jabalpur.

His mainstream political journey began in 2013 when he became an official member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He served as the General Secretary of State of BJP Madhya Pradesh from 2016 to 2020.

He contested and won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from the Khajuraho Lok Sabha constituency on BJP’s ticket by a landslide margin of close to five lakh seats. He is currently the BJP Madhya Pradesh’s State President.
