In order to ensure maximum recovery of electricity bill dues and minimise power theft,the Haryana power discoms,including Uttar Bijli Vitran Nigam and Dakshin Bijli Vitran Nigam, has registered as many as 8,951 criminal cases against people who are allegedly indulging in power thefts
