Reema Lagoo

Born as Gurinder Bhadbhade, Reema Lagoo was an Indian actor who started her career in Hindi and Marathi films. The actor got prominence after she started playing a mother in Rajshree Productions films. Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Maine Pyar Kiya, Vaastav and Kal Ho Na Ho are some of the films which highlighted the acting prowess of Reema. Her acting career spanned over four decades and she was last seen on Mahesh Bhatt's television show Naamkaran. Reema died in Mumbai on May 18, 2017, after suffering a cardiac arrest. The actor is survived by a daughter Mrunmayee, who is also a theatre and film actress and theatre director.
