Rajendra Gavit biography

Rajendra Gavit is a political leader from Maharastra and a member of Shiv Sena. He is the incumbent Member of Parliament from Palghar Lok Sabha constituency. He was born on July 24, 1967, in Palghar, Maharashtra.

He comes from a lowly background and has a solid academic background. He has a bachelor's degree in arts and has been interested in community service and social work since he was a little child.

He was initially associated with Congress but switched alliance to BJP to contest and win the 2018 Palghar Lok Sabha by-polls. After being denied the ticket from Palghar by the BJP, he joined Shiv Sena in 2019 and retained his seat in the 17th Lok Sabha elections.
