His career, spanning over two decades and encompassing more than 100 films, showcases remarkable versatility across diverse genres. Early Success and Critical Acclaim: Sukumaran's debut in Nandanam (2002) was followed by a career resurgence with Classmates (2006), becoming the highest-grossing Malayalam film that year. His performance in Vaasthavam (2006) earned him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor, making him the youngest recipient at the time. Subsequent roles, including the musician in Mozhi (2007) and his foray into playback singing with Puthiya Mukham (2009), cemented his position as a leading actor. A second Kerala State Film Award followed for Ayalum Njanum Thammil (2012) and Celluloid (2013).
