ABOUT Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan MOVIE
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (KBKJ), a 2023 action-comedy directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Salman Khan Films, opened in cinemas on April 21, coinciding with Eid. A remake of the Tamil film Veeram, the movie features Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, and Venkatesh in lead roles. Principal photography, spanning Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Ladakh, concluded in February 2023 after commencing in May 2022. The film's musical score and soundtrack were composed by a team including Ravi Basrur, Himesh Reshammiya, Devi Sri Prasad, Sajid Khan, Sukhbir, Payal Dev, and Amaal Mallik. V Manikandan handled cinematography, while Mayuresh Sawant took charge of editing. Produced on a substantial budget of approximately 125 crore (excluding Khan's reported 100 crore remuneration), KBKJ aimed for significant returns. However, despite garnering an estimated worldwide gross of over 182.44 crore, the film's commercial performance fell short of expectations. Critical reception was mixed, contributing to its underperformance at the box office.
