Criminal Investigation Department and Income Tax authorities had raided the empty flat in the Golden Grand apartment complex in Bengaluru leading to the recovery of Rs 4.37 crore in cash and 2.5 kg of gold and diamonds.

The police said the trio from Chandigarh — Rohan (21), Sumit (22), and Mohit (19) — were dhol players by profession and had procured the weapons due to an old rivalry with local residents.
