Shamli incident: 3 persons arrested

Shamli (UP), Feb 08 (ANI): Shamli Superintendent of Police Vijay Bhushan on Monday said that three persons have been detained in connection with the death of an eight-year-old boy in a celebratory firing in Shamli. Bhushan said a child aged around eight was hit by a bullet in a celebratory firing. An eight-year-old boy was killed allegedly in a celebratory firing after local elections results were announced in Shamli on Sunday. The Samajwadi Party workers were celebrating the win of candidate Nafisa in the elections when the bullet fired during a rally hit the victim.

Primary evidence shows Sarfaraz Alam is at fault: JD (U) leader

Patna, Jan 23 (ANI): Janata Dal (United) leader Vashishtha Narayan Singh on Saturday said on the basis of primary evidence, they believe the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) MLA Sarfaraz Alam is wrong, so the party suspended him. He added that a thorough investigation is on in connection to the Alam’s suspension. He added that if he will be found guilty, probe would be initiated against him. He also added that the party earlier also took action against those who behaved in a wrong way.
