The Delhi Metro police station at Central Secretariat has registered as many as 2,294 cases since January 1 this year — topping the list of police stations with the maximum number of crime cases reported across the capital.

A Pakistani national, identified as Siraj Khan, was apprehended by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Jammu and Kashmir's R S Pura Sector. He was attempting to cross the international border from the Pakistan side. The BSF troops fired warning shots and seized Rs 30 in Pakistani currency from the man. He is currently being questioned for his motives.
