Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma is an Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He has been a Member of Parliament (MP) representing the Jalaun constituency in Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India's Parliament, since 1996.
Born on July 4, 1957, in Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh, Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma has been a prominent figure politically for several decades. He started his political career with the BJP and has been associated with the party since the early days of his political journey.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Verma was elected from the Jalaun constituency, which is reserved for Scheduled Castes. He won the seat with a significant margin, securing 48.38% of the total votes. His victory was part of the BJP's sweeping win in Uttar Pradesh, where the party and its allies won 73 out of 80 seats.

The 2019 Lok Sabha elections saw Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma retaining his seat in Jalaun with an even larger margin. He won 57.91% of the total votes, defeating his nearest rival from the Samajwadi Party by over 2.5 lakh votes. His re-election was a testament to his continued popularity and the trust placed in him by the electorate of Jalaun.

During his tenure as an MP, Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma has been known for his focus on rural development and the welfare of the marginalised communities in his constituency. He has been involved in various development projects aimed at improving infrastructure, healthcare, and education in Jalaun.
