Anushka Sharma: From Modelling to Bollywood Stardom Anushka Sharma, a prominent figure in Hindi cinema, has carved a successful career spanning acting and production. Born in Ayodhya and raised in Bangalore, Sharma’s journey began with modelling, culminating in her acting debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the blockbuster Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008). Her early success continued with Yash Raj Films' Band Baaja Baaraat (2010) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), the latter earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.
