Olympic medalist and wrestler, Sushil Kumar, had taken to the micro-blogging site on Sunday to vent his anger towards Narsingh Yadav’s doping controversy. He had tweeted that respect should be earned and not demanded.

Narsingh Yadav tested positive for a curious performance enhancing drug, Metadienone, just less than a month ahead of the Rio games. During an interview he said that he had never heard of that drug before and asked why would he try something negative which could misplace his chance at Rio Olympics.

“I am myself shocked after this, it’s a conspiracy against me. CBI probe should be conducted,” said Narsingh. “I am doing so well, why would I even take banned steroids?”

“I should be sent to Rio Olympics and hope this will be sorted out soon. I have written to federation, want justice.”
