He observed that the new ball was holding up a bit, making batting challenging initially, though conditions improved as the ball got older. Regarding his role as Impact Player for SRH, Manohar revealed he was prepared to bat in case of a collapse and had already padded up when wickets started falling in quick succession. They held firm for a few overs, but just as a partnership seemed to bloom, Hardik Pandya’s tactical bowling changes broke through once again. That’s when Klaasen flipped the script. He launched a fierce counterattack, finding support in Abhinav Manohar, who came in as the Impact Player.

The innings began in turmoil for SRH. Deepak Chahar was on fire in the opening over, swinging the ball both ways and putting the brakes on their explosive start. Strategic Break! Phew, what a chaotic and gripping passage of play we've witnessed! Mumbai Indians have completely seized control, leaving Sunrisers Hyderabad in deep trouble at 35 for 5. After an early collapse that saw four wickets tumble in no time, it briefly looked like Heinrich Klaasen and Aniket Verma were steadying the ship. But just as things began to settle, bam, another blow, and SRH are back to square one, if not worse. They’re now staring down the barrel, and a tactical move might be in order. An impact substitute, possibly a batter, seems like the only way out to add some resistance. But doing so could weaken their bowling even further, especially with Mohammad Shami not in the original XI. Mumbai Indians have been absolutely ruthless and are showing no signs of easing up. And now, with their back firmly against the wall, SRH make the expected move, Abhinav Manohar comes in as the Impact Substitute, replacing Travis Head. It's a bold call, and perhaps the only card they had left to play.
