England replaced Sonny Baker with Saqib Mahmood to bring some experience in the bowling attack and did some justice to the changes. England did start well with the ball however, let things slip once the part-timers, Will Jacks and Jacob Bethell, entered into the attack. Brydon Carse, too, was among the runs. Jofra Archer was the pick of the lot as he bowled a much better second spell to end with four wickets. We all know how England performed in the first game, they'll be a bit nervous when they come out, while South Africa will be confident to start well. Stay tuned for the chase.

England had South Africa under a bit of pressure when they picked three wickets inside 20 overs. However, Matthew Breetzke and Tristan Stubbs put on a fighting partnership to put South Africa back on track and on the road for a big total. Matthew Breetzke nailed his shots and looked in fine touch throughout his innings. Tristan Stubbs struggled a bit but picked up the baton and started scoring at a higher rate once Matthew Breetzke departed. However, he was involved in a horrible run out with Dewald Brevis and was absolutely furious but Brevis made sure he does the heavy lifting as his 42 off 20 gave South Africa an extra push to go over 300.

A mammoth total from South Africa and they ride the confidence from their famous win in the first ODI. England so far have been beaten comprehensively in this series. England's thought of bowling first has backfired as South Africa have put on a big total.

Even they would have been a bit surprised with how England played but from South Africa’s point of view, it was a magical performance and would look to repeat it again to seal the series. Keshav Maharaj picked four wickets but it was Wiaan Mulder who broke the back of the hosts to plot the win. In the chase, as certain as it could be, Aiden Markram’s quick fire knock sealed the game. England’s batting approach will be in spotlight again. They have to show it was just a mere slip of form rather than an ongoing major problem.
