Rohit Sharma, the skipper of India says that they are always at scare whenever they play against West Indies, they knew it would be very tough and they were prepared. Mentions that Bhuvneshwar Kumar was fantastic, he was calm under pressure and experience did matter, and he did execute the plans well with the yorkers. States that Kohli's innings was very important and he hit the ball very well and took the pressure off him while batting. States that he is happy to see Venkatesh Iyer perform, he backs his skills and he is very confident as a player, they need such players in the side. Also, says that the fielding was sloppy, they could have been better in the field, but they will minimize these errors in the next game.

Kieron Pollard, the skipper of West Indies. He says Rovman Powell batted really well and the partnership between him and Pooran was good. He tells that they took the game till the end and is actually happy with the performance. Tells the start was not that bad with 40 runs and 9 wickets in the bank. Says they can see it from different angles. Adds they were slow in the first game and in the middle phase but they did well in this game.

With Rovman Powell and Nicholas Pooran out there hitting everything away, you feel it is an easy chase but sometimes you have to credit the opposition on how they played. The openers of West Indies fell after giving a decent start but it was then the Powell-Pooran show. They put up a 100-run partnership and looked like it is going their way but India's last three overs were top notch. It was all set up for West Indies to chase this down but the target was just too big in the end.

The pacers started well for India as there was swing but they didn't get any reward. The spinners then came into the action and got both the openers. The fielding kept India at the bay. Two catches were dropped and both went on to score half-centuries. Even the dew kicked in later in the innings and it needed something special from the bowlers. They were still in the game with 29 runs to defend in the last two overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a splendid penultimate over and then Harshal Patel followed him with an outstanding one. Good job overall and Rohit Sharma will be a happy man.

Brilliant bowling from Harshal Patel, this game went till the very last over but Patel did very well, in the end, to defend 25 runs against Rovman Powell and Kieron Pollard. Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal goes straight to Rovman Powell and checks his bat. You feel for him. He played so brilliantly but failed to take his team over the line. West Indies will be a tad disappointed. They started off well but leaked over 75 runs in the last six overs and let India get away with it. Other than, Roston Chase no other bowler found their mojo in the middle. West Indies need 187 runs and they have enough firepower in their batting to chase this down. Also, with the dew coming in, Indian bowlers could be in trouble. Will West Indies come out on top and level the series? Or will India seal the series? We will find out!

Virat Kohli is down for a quick chat. He says that it was a different situation and he just tried to be positive about it. Tells that he is happy to go with clear intent and is happy it came off nicely. Adds, there is a responsibility and he just needs to back himself and play with intent. Tells the crowd creates good energy and he just needed to create a good environment. Informs it is a good total and the bowlers just need to be smart enough. Mentions Pant and Iyer, on the way they finished the innings.

India would be mighty pleased after being asked to bat first they have done an exceptional job to post a target of 187. After the openers fell cheaply it was Virat Kohli who came in and displayed his aggression straightaway but he perished soon after an exquisite half-century. He needed some runs and stood up on the right occasion. But it was the partnership of Pant and Venkatesh Iyer who put together 76 runs and guided India to a healthy total. The batters have done well and now it's up to the Indian bowlers to defend this and seal the series.

An outstanding display of batting by the hosts! They did lose wickets, but the runs always kept coming in for them! West Indies would be disappointed a bit, they leaked many runs at the backend, and the partnership between Rishabh Pant and Venkatesh Iyer was the one that hurt the visitors the most. They face a tough challenge ahead, but the Men in Maroon have a brutal batting line-up who could chase this down.

West Indies have a powerful batting line-up, but they have not been able to display their magic yet. Coming into this game, they will want the middle-order, in particular, to step up. West Indies could make a few changes. We did see Akeal Hosein being promoted up the order which did not work in their favor. However, they could shuffle things once more. They could get in Jason Holder, who has been in some fine touch with the ball and bat. He could prove to be a threat. They do have the quality in their ranks and are well and truly capable of leveling this series here. However, Virat Kohli has not been at his best and he will want to get some runs under his belt and give a solid start to India in case of an early wicket. Ravi Bishnoi in his first game was one of the main architects behind India's victory in the first T20I, he will want to continue in the same way. Rohit Sharma and his men look unstoppable and they will want to carry on the same way and seal the series.
