“When they came here from west Pakistan, they had left behind their land holdings. The land allocated to them were always meant to be freehold properties, but for some reason, they were mutated as leased properties at that time. The Kurla railway police are working on a sketch of the other accused to identify him, sources said. “We will nab him soon. We shall present Khakadiya before the court in the morning,” said an officer.

The report of the postmortem examination conducted at JJ Hospital had said that the boy died from acute respiratory distress syndrome in a case of cardiac failure. It had added that the death was due to septicemia caused by tuberculosis.
