The film 'Love in Tokyo' starring Joy Mukherjee and Asha Parekh was released in 1966 and it was primarily shot in Tokyo, Japan. The film's song 'Sayonara' (farewell) was probably the first Japanese word many Indians learnt. But Mumbai-based Indian photographer and IT professional Manish Prabhune, who resides in Tokyo, decided to capture how the locations of the city in the film look now after 50 years. "So much has changed in these past 50 years since the movie was shot here, but there are still those traces which can be found as “intact” even today," writes Prabhune.
