MWC 2016: Xiaomi Mi 5, Samsung Galaxy S7, LG G5 and other top launches

Xiaomi Mi 5 features 5.15-inch body, Snapdragon 820 chipset, 16MP Sony image sensor with OIS, 4MP front camera, 3000mAh battery. The smartphone comes in three variants and will be available in China starting May 1. The smartphone is priced around Rs 21,000. Read more here

Samsung launched Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge with refreshed specifications. The new device look almost same as Galaxy S6. The biggest change being Galaxy S7 Edge which now gets 5.5-inch display and more utility options for the edge screen.

Samsung Galaxy S7 now features 5.1-inch display and both phones will be either powered by Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 processor. The smartphones comes with 4GB RAM and 32 or 64GB expandable storage. Another improvement this year is the camera. Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge get 12MP rear shooter with f/1.7 aperture which could be the best smartphone camera ever. Do follow the space for our review soon

Gionee S8 is an effort of rebranding from Chinese smartphone company. Gionee S8 highlights a new loop-style invisible metal unibody design. Gionee S8 comes with a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display and is just 7mm thick. Gionee S8 also gets Force Touch feature same as Apple's iPhone 6s. Read more here

HP also came out with a surprise flagship Windows 10 Mobile device called Elite x3. The smartphone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage. HP Elite X3 also packs a huge 5.96-inch display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Read more here

HP Elite x3 comes with a beefy 4150mAh battery which should be good for days and not hours. It gets Windows 10 Mobile with Continuum support and HP has designed two docks for external display and a laptop.
