Google Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Google Pixel Buds, Pixelbook, Google Home Mini, Home Max speaker and Google Clips were unveiled by the company at its big event. A look at the top devices of Google unveiled.
Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL sport similar specifications: Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM/64GB and 128GB storage with unlimited storage for photos and videos on the Google Photos app. Pixel 2 XL has a 6-inch full vision display with QHD+ resolution.
Google Pixel 2 has a 5-inch full HD resolution OLED display, and offers the standard 16:9 aspect ratio.
Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL hold the same dual-tone design on the back, which is half glass and half metal. Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have same the rear camera of 12.2MP.
Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are priced at Rs 61,000 (64 GB) and Rs 73,000 (64 GB) respectively.
Both Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones runs Android Oreo 8.0.
Pixelbook is the new premium Chromebook from Google, priced at a $999. The Pixelbook has support for a Pixelbook Pen accessory, which costs $99. Pixelbook can be a portable laptop/tablet; weighing less than 1kg and being 10.3mm thin.
Google Home Mini is the new smart speaker, which is circular, being 3.86-inches in diameter and 1.65-inches high. The Google Home mini is powered by the Google Assistant. Google Home Mini is priced at $49.
Google also announced the Daydream View VR headset which can be paired with Pixel 2 or any Daydream-ready phone. It sports a premium fabric that makes the headset soft and light and will be available in Charcoal colour for Rs 7,999 on Flipkart.
Google also launched a small, wearable camera called “Clips” for $249. The device is packed with AI to make videos. It can basically send clips to a user’s phone and even edit them and curate them. The tiny Google Clips camera is what the company calls a “lightweight, hands-free camera” to allow users to capture their surroundings.
