
Vijender Singh continued his victory march as he managed to defend his WBO Oriental and Asia Pacific Super middleweight titles against African champion Ernest Amuzu at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. He improved his record to 10-0 as he defeated Amuzu by an unanimous decision to retain his titles.

Vijender Singh, 32, has now 10 wins under his belt with 7 of them being won by KO and 3 by unanimous decision.

With win over Ernest Amuzu, Vijender Singh maintained his 100% win record in professional boxing.

Vijender Singh's fight against Ernest Amuzu was his fourth fight in India as the Olympic medallist managed to defend his titles with ease against an experienced opponent.

Fight against Ernest Amuzu was Vijender's second fight against an African boxer. Earlier, he had faced Francis Cheka from Tanzania and had won the bout through technical knockout in just three rounds.

Vijender Singh began his Pro Boxing career against England's Sonny Whiting. He continued his victory march against Dean Gillen, Samet Hyuseinov (Bulgaria), Alexander Horvath (Hungary), Matiouze Royer (France), Andrzej Soldra (Poland), Kerry Hope (Australia), Francis Cheka (Tanzania) and Zulpikar Maimaitiali (China).
