Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif set the stage on fire at ISL 2017 opening ceremony

Indian Super League 2017-18 added a punch of glamour as 'Sultan of Bollywood' Salman Khan graced the crowd at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, along with female co-star Katrina Kaif. Both the actors performed seperately on some of their best songs and set the stage on fire. After showcasing his dance moves, the 51-year old actor took hold of the microphone and said, "Future Hai Football".

The opening ceremony this year showcased 'Bhai' making a grand entry into the stadium on a bicycle, followed by hundreds of riders behind him. Salman took an entire round of the ground on his bicycle entertaining the crowd.

Sachin Tendulkar, former India cricket player and co-owner of Kerala Blasters FC, actor Salman khan, Nita Ambani, founding chairperson of Hero Indian super league , actor Katrina Kaif and actor Mammootty welcomed the fourth season of the Hero Indian Super League at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi.

Salman Khan showed some of his famous dance moves during his performance at the opening ceremony on Saturday.

Katrina Kaif performed on the songs of her upcoming movie, 'Tiger Zinda Hai', building up a thrilling atmosphere at the venue before the opening encounter.

Mammootty presented the ball to Nita Ambani during the opening ceremony of the Indian Super League in the presence of Kerala Blasters owner Sachin Tendulkar and the team's captain Sandesh Jhingan.

Mammootty, Katrina Kaif, Nita Ambani, Salman Khan and Sachin Tendulkar shared a single frame during a selfie at the opening ceremony of the Indian Super League on Friday.

Salman Khan performed on his famous tracks which included, 'Mera hi Jalwa' during the opening ceremony and entertained the crowd before the opening match of the Indian Super League.

This was the first time that ATK drew their first away match in an ISL edition, having won in the earlier three occasions.

Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov also made his ISL debut, which was one of the major highlights of the match but the 36-year-old Bulgarian could not do much in the entire match. It was also the first time when the ISL opener ended in a draw.

In the entire match, ATK had four shots on target while Kerala had two, as both the sides finished at 0-0 in the opening match of the tournament on Saturday.
