The best and worst dressed at the 2016 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Movie award ceremonies are as much for a recognition of the best movies in the business, as they are for spotting the a la mode of the fashion world. Here's a look at the 10 actresses who have turned heads at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards red carpet — a few for the right reasons, and some just missed the style memo.

Kirsten Dunst simply killed it in this spectacular 1920s' ruffled gown with beaded details by Chanel in 2016.

Worst: Kate Gorney's blue dress goes into the epic fashion fail list. The velvet is no longer in, and the sheer cutouts with a landing strip across your breasts — a definite NO! (Source: AP)

Best: The always stunning Rosie Huntington-Whiteley donned a black Saint Laurent gown for the Critics' Choice Awards. Though there was much said about her unsightly tan lines at the back, but from the front, the asymmetrical neckline gives a modern edge to a classic look, and the lady pulled it off with finesse.
