At a delegation-level meeting with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer at the Federal Chancellery in Austria’s Vienna, he reiterated that the loss of innocent lives is not acceptable anywhere and solutions to conflicts cannot be found on the battlefield. (PTI)

Chancellor Karl, while posting an update about the bilateral meeting with PM Modi on X, wrote: “Welcome to Vienna, PM Narendra Modi. It is a pleasure and honour to welcome you to Austria. In Russia, PM Modi received the country’s highest civilian honour — The Order of St. Andrew the Apostle in the Kremlin. He also held bilateral talks with President Vladimir Putin where the PM told him that a solution to the Ukraine conflict is not possible on the battlefield and peace talks do not succeed amid bombs, guns, and bullets.
