Starring Vin Diesel, Bloodshot is the first movie based on Valiant Comics. After Marvel and DC, comic book fans will see another franchise beginning with Bloodshot.
Vin Diesel plays Ray Garrison in Bloodshot. After Ray is killed, he is brought back to life by scientists with nanotechnology running through his veins.
In his new life, he is a superhuman named Bloodshot who has the physical strength of an army.
Bloodshot also stars Eiza Gonzalez, Sam Heughan, Toby Kebbell, Guy Pearce and Lamorne Morris among others.
It was earlier speculated that Bloodshot will be followed by other characters from the Valiant comic book universe, thus turning this into a comic book universe.
Bloodshot first appeared in comic books in 1992. In comic books, his superpowers include superhuman strength, speed, agility, stamina, reflexes, ability to heal, hand-to-hand combat, shapeshifting and cyberkinesis.
Bloodshot releases in theaters on March 13.
