
The news of Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput's new born baby is certainly a piece to rejoice for the actor's fans, friends and family. Shahid became a proud father of a little princess and he quickly took to Twitter to announce her birth saying, "She has arrived and words fall short to express our happiness. Thank you for all your wishes."
The new born has also brought a new role for daddy dearest, which is full of much more responsibilities and hardwork, a role which is way tougher than what Shahid has ever done onscreen. And this new side of his personality can be well seen in thse pictures that have arrived all the way from Hinduja Healthcare Surgical Hospital in Mumbai's suburban Khar, where mother Mira and the baby are admitted at present. Shahid, who has been around his wife all through and taking special care about her delivery, is no doubt a happy father now. Shahid is a young and cool daddy. While we await the first images of his daughter, Shahid mother Neelima Azeem, in a recent interaction revealed about the looks of the baby and thanked everyone for their best wishes. She said, "I thank everybody for their wishes and support. Both mother and daughter are doing fine and my granddaughter looks absolutely gorgeous. Their parents are so happy. Neelima, in the interview, also added that she always wanted a granddaughter and feels absolutely blessed as her first grandchild is a girl. “This is the first baby. I am a new grandmother. This is a new phase and I can’t explain how it feels like. I really wanted a granddaughter, so I am absolutely thrilled and I feel so blessed. I have two sons and now I have a granddaughter." Mira was admitted to the hospital on August 24 ahead of her delivery. Earlier the child was expected to be born sometime around mid-September. A hospital source said the delivery was normal and the mother, as well as the child, were doing fine. Sources also suggest that both Mira and her daughter will be discharged within a couple of days.
