New bride on the block, Rani Mukerji is out and about with promotions for her forthcoming film, 'Mardaani'. Though her role of a policewoman requires her to be in uniform and have more of a no-nonsense approach to her wardrobe, the actress has been giving us some pretty interesting looks offscreen.
Rani's first post-marriage appearance along with mom-in-law Pamela Chopra, had the beauty in a festive red Sabyasachi churridar suit with matching red platform pumps that probably could have been replaced by metallic strappy heels. She looked every inch a Punjabi bride. And we would say it is by the best appearance post her secret wedding to Aditya Chopra.
Next was her first 'Mardaani' appearance, Rani mixed things up in a black tank top, white blazer and ripped denims. Neon coloured Jimmy Choo sandals added just the right amount of pop that the look required.
Her sari appearance at the Couture Week 2014 was an absolute winner for us. We loved the ivory Sabyasachi sari with updo, minimal jewellery and smoky eyes.
Rani Mukerji was also seen in a rich gold and black Sabyasachi creation when she appeared on the sets of reality dance show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' to promote the crime flick.
When Rani launched the 'Mardaani' anthem, she didn't have much luck with the outfit. The actress picked a grey blouse with a matching blazer and black pants. However though the berry coloured lips were a change, it did little to salvage the look.
A recent sighting had Rani Mukerji looking nice in a turquoise and black with gold Sabyasachi creation. The actress paired the kurta with white cropped flair-bottomed pants.
