Anupamaa continues to be the most watched Indian TV show

As per the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) ratings, Star Plus' Anupamaa continues to be the most watched Indian television show. The Rupali Ganguly-starrer has been keeping the audience impressed with its intense drama. Imlie and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein also managed to sustain their spots on the TRP list. While Indian Idol exited its slot, Kundali Bhagya and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are also part of the top five shows in week 6.

Coming to channels, Star Plus continued to be the numero uno GEC in the urban market. It's followed by Colors, Star Utsav, Sony SAB, Zee TV, and Sony TV.

1. Anupamaa (Star Plus) - 9430

Rajan Shahi's Anupamaa is a remake of popular Bengali series Sreemoyee. It stars Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey in the lead roles as Anupamaa and Vanraj. After finding out about Vanraj's affair, Anupamaa had filed for a divorce, however, her children are finding it tough to choose between their parents. The current track is focussing on the estranged couple trying to come together to give the best in life to their children.

2. Imlie (Star Plus) - 7568

The rural drama Imlie has turned out to be a dark horse, as it slowly climbs up the TRP chart. Young actor Sumbul Touqeer plays the titular role, and has managed to win the audiences' hearts with her innocence and charm. Viewers are presently hooked to the love quadrangle between Malini, Aditya, Imlie and Sundar.

3. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin (Star Plus) - 7384

While in real life Aishwarya Sharma found love in Neil Bhatt, things are going pretty difficult for her on-screen avatar in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein. Her character Pakhi is not being able to break Virat and Sai's relationship, leading to her feeling helpless. The show is set to also see the entry of Tejasvi Khatal, who will go on to add more drama in the tale.

4. Kundali Bhagya (Zee TV) - 7220

Kumkum Bhagya's spin-off Kundali Bhagya might have dropped down the list but it continues to be a favourite of many. Audiences seem to be currently hooked on to the drama around Prithvi's (Sanjay Gagnani) comeback, and how he plans to separate Preeta (Shraddha Arya) and Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar)

5. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) - 6774

From the time of Shivangi Joshi's re-entry, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been picking up numbers. Fans have been enjoying the new chemistry between her and Mohsin Khan's Kartik. Buzz suggests , Seerat will soon regain her memory, leading to more drama in the Rajan Shahi show.
