Delhi's Tina Dabi (22-year-old) has secured first rank in UPSC Civil Services 2015, in her first attempt. Tina, who has graduated from Lady Shri Ram College, has opted Haryana as her cadre preference. “I opted for Haryana because it presents such an interesting example, where you have a lot of economic progress but when it comes to social indicators you are lagging behind, and that is a very big paradox.” (PTI photo)

The UPSC Civil Services 2015 second topper is Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan from Jammu and Kashmir. Athar is 23-year-old and is undergoing training at the Indian Railways Institute of Transport and Management, Lucknow. This was his second attempt as he got 560 rank in his first attempt. (PTI photo)

The third ranker holder is Jasmeet Singh Sandhu from New Delhi. Jasmeet was also selected in 2014 civil services exam and had got Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise). He is undergoing training at National Academy of Customs, Excise and Narcotics in Faridabad. This was his fourth attempt. (PTI photo)

Daughter of senior state officer Dr. G.N. Qasba, Sheema Nabi Qasba has managed to secure her berth at no 205. Sheema is a law graduate and was working with leading law firm in New Delhi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other ministers too congratulated successful candidates of civil services examinations. Fighting all odds, 21-year-old Ansar Ahamad Shaikh, the son of an autorickshaw driver from Jalna’s Shedgaon village, has managed to crack the tough UPSC exam in his first attempt, securing an All-India Rank 361. The Bachelor of Arts, political science graduate from Pune’s Fergusson College said he came to the city to pursue his degree in Arts and focus on his UPSC preparations.
