The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Delhi) is the most employable institute in India, as per the Times Higher Education Employability ranking 2020. The institute has attained the 27th rank worldwide. The report termed IIT-Delhi as “a microcosm of India’s success story in the past 10 years”.

The Indian Institute of Science, IISc Bangalore secured the 71th rank worldwide, as per the THE Employability ranking 2020. The institute secured the best rank among institutes in both NIRF and THE Asia, World University rankings.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Bombay) has secured rank 128 in THE's Employability ranking 2020. A total of 32 countries and regions represented in the top 150 as opposed to 24 in 2010 in the French consultancy Emerging and Times Higher Education (THE)’s Employability Rankings 2020.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Kharagpur) ranks 195 in the latest Employability ranking by THE. Universities will have to focus on their employability as the study claims that over the past 10 years, students and their parents are even more motivated by the ability to get a job rather than the brand name or reputation that universities hold, the report mentioned.
