Check out top 10 Indian institutes in THE Asia University Ranking 2020
In the latest THE University Rankings for Asia, eight institutes placed in the top 100 best institutes in Asia. This is India’s best performance since 2016, in terms of the number of institutes. Last time, India had eight institutes in the top 100 in 2016.

1 / 10Rank 125 all over the continent, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham shared the 10th spot in the country with Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and Madras.

3 / 10Rank 92, the Institute of Chemical Technology is the last institute featured in the top 100 varsity ranking. Further, a total of 489 universities across India qualified for the ranking this year which was an increase of 72 institutes of 17 per cent as compared to last year.

4 / 10With rank 83 all over the continent, IIT-Roorkee is seventh among Indian institutes.

5 / 10IIT-Bombay is one of the seventh premier institutes which earlier decided not to participate in the university rankings. Last year, the older IITs had expressed concerns over their performance in the World University Rankings released in September. However, the institute got 69th rank in all over the continent.

6 / 10IIT-Delhi has moved up by 24 places as compared to last year when it rank 91 overall in the continent. This year, the institute was placed at 67th spot. Earlier, the institute decided not to participate in the ranking.
