The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release Class 12 examination results on May 21 by 12 pm
According to the data provided by CBSE, a total of 14,99,122 candidates has registered for the class 10th (both Board-based and school-based) exams as against 13,73,853 in 2015. Similarly for class 12th Boards, 10,67,900 candidates have registered as against 10,40,368 in 2015
The Government on March 15 favoured a probe into the reported leakage of a CBSE Class 12 examination paper and suggestions that the questions were rather difficult for the students, after members from several parties raised the issue in the Lok Sabha.
However, the Union Human Resource Development Minister said, in a written reply to Lok Sabha said, “There have been newspaper reports on the issue during the Board exam of 2016. A committee of subject experts was constituted to enquire into this issue, and the committee concluded that there was no leakage of question paper,” Irani said
