With two cases of H1N1 virus reported in the NCR in June,doctors fear for a resurgence of the H1N1 virus is here. During the first wave,9,700 people were diagnosed with H1N1 virus while 95 patients succumbed to the deadly virus.

“We are advising residents to take all precautions against the influenza. People should not ignore viral-like symptoms and report to the nearest hospital. Our hospitals are well equipped to handle the cases,” said Diwan Chand,Special Secretary,Delhi Health department.

Precautions include following proper hand hygiene,prompt medical attention if viral symptoms appear and keeping distance from infected patients.
