SRCC gears up for annual debating event

From group discussions to individuals presenting both sides of the argument,the annual debating festival at Sri Ram College of Commerce,Ernst and Young Shri Ram Debating Festival,will test the skills of the speakers.

From group discussions to individuals presenting both sides of the argument,the annual debating festival at Sri Ram College of Commerce,Ernst and Young Shri Ram Debating Festival,will test the skills of the speakers.

Four competitions,including the parliamentary debate,group discussion and turncoat,apart from the conventional debate will be held from 10-13 February.

The finals for the 32 Shri Ram Memorial Debate,one of the prestigious debates organised in the Delhi University will be held on February 12.

The turncoat event,Renegade,to be held on the 13th,will see participants first propose and then oppose the motion.

The festival will have participation from over 50 colleges across the country,including National Law School Bangalore,St Stephens and Indian Institute of Technology,Delhi.

An informal discussion will also be held on February 11 with Kapil Arora,Partner,Ernst & Young,on the current global economic crisis.
